Apple

Apple is proof we as a society are on the decline. When is it not stupid to buy something 5% better for 50% more? When it has a better resale, not when it has more expensive upkeep and has been designed to stop working prematurely. Apple enthusiasts need to spend a week alone in the jungle looking for food so they can have some context.

Peloton

Avg Peloton owner: White, 35-50, has exercised but was never an athlete, needs affirmation from the pack to feel self-worth, makes in excess of $200k a year and has far less retirement than he/she should. Too lazy to find videos on youtube and buy the same bike for half as much 'sans brand'. Peloton is ripe to lose half their subs just like a gym will. It's a home gym membership for those too lazy to go to a gym in the first place.

And you have to stop with the AT&T of it all. I did a whole post on that gaggle neanderthals...
