The word "conservative" has more meaning in 2024 than Websters would offer. And part of that is the two party system.

No one would say they lived life safer when younger. But as people get older they tend to dislike change. Conservative parties offer "no progress" or "chnage". Sounds awful to me, but I am just one vote
